Kerri joins new drama series - The Reef - in Tobago

Our very own Kerri Tucker, International Sales and Marketing Manager for MACO Destinations and all-round MACO writer, has added a new role to her portfolio, lead actress. Starring as Erin Spitz-King – a feisty, diabolic hotelier – in the new, drama series “The Reef”, Kerri is in the company of one of the crème de la crème of Trinidad's filmmakers – Danielle Dieffenthaller. Danielle heads Diefferent Style Flims Limited, which has produced the hit TV series, Westwood Park.

The Reef is a drama series set in a contemporary, perfect boutique resort in the Caribbean. While some stories will focus on the lives of foreign guests, the main drama surrounds the local resort staff and people associated with them. The majority of the scenes for The Reef are now being filmed in Tobago with the assistance of the Tobago House Assembly, the kind consideration of Mike Durham – who has provided his villa “Romanca” as the main set, and Grafton Beach Resort – which has graciously provided accommodation for the cast while filming in Tobago.

The Reef is slotted for primetime entertainment viewing on CNMG. We can’t wait to see Kerri acting her heart out.

The series stars some well-known actors such as Michael Cherrie, Cecelia Salazar, Arnold Goindhan, Judith Theodore and entertainers new to the acting arena, Kees Dieffenthaller, Khafra Rudder, Nadia Batson and Cyclops. The show will introduce newcomer Mandisa Boxhill.
