British Virgin Islands Entertainment

The British Virgin Islands don’t just offer spectacular ways to take in the beauty of the natural world; they also feature plenty of places to kick up your heels and have a great time.

Live music abounds in the British Virgin Islands. Hotspots such as Foxy’s Bar, and Quito’s Gazebo feature plenty of opportunities to get your dance on. Local bands play reggae, calypso, jazz, rock, and fungi, a mish-mash musical style unique to the British Virgin Islands.

Of course, a night on the town wouldn’t be complete without libations, and the British Virgin Islands deliver on this count, too. Rum flows like water, and local favorites such as the Painkiller are sure to erase whatever remains of the workaday blues.

Devotees of retail therapy will find lots of opportunities to pick up curios for the poor souls back home. Soper’s Hole is a quaint little village, complete with a marina and shopping center. Located in the West End, it’s a great place to shop for Caribbean crafts and souvenirs.

Sunny Caribbee Spice Shop and Art Gallery in Road Town offers cosmetics, spices, arts, and crafts, mostly made in the West Indies. For a high-end experience, check out Little Switzerland on Tortola, a luxury retailer of diamond jewelry, watches, and keepsakes.
