It would be a difficult task to come up with a more picturesque setting for a wedding than the British Virgin Islands. There’s plenty for guests to do, and more romantic settings than you can count. What better place than paradise to start a lifetime of love and commitment? And, who could think of a better place for a romantic honeymoon?
So, where should you have the ceremony? Well, for some folks, any of the BVIs’ quiet beaches will do just fine. But, if you’re looking to have a more elaborate ceremony, then there is no shortage of available venues.
Among those known as excellent wedding venues are Little Dix Bay Resort, on Virgin Gorda; Tortola’s Long Bay, located in West End; the Scrub Island Resort; and Surfsong Villa Resort of Beef Island.
Aquamere BVI is another great place to consider, as their large, well-appointed villas are an ideal place for large parties to take respite; there are also plenty of gorgeous places to hold the nuptials, nearby.
In order to make your wedding as stress-free as possible, it may be advisable to enlist the services of one of the British Virgin Islands’ local wedding planners. Also, be aware that the bride and groom must be on-island for at least three days before getting married, so you might have to spend a little time there before-hand, not that you’ll object.
