Caribbean People

Caribbean People

While there are many wonderful things to see and do in the Caribbean, it wouldn’t be the great tourist destination it is without the amazing Caribbean people. People in the Caribbean are often friendly, creative and welcoming, and it’s unlikely you’ll get through a Caribbean vacation without making a few fantastic new friends.

Artists

The first time you visit the Caribbean, you’re sure to notice the great art. Whether it’s hanging on a museum wall or for sale in a roadside shop, you’ll find some amazing pieces of art in the Caribbean. You’ll also find some amazing artists, people who put their heart in their work and have some fascinating stories to tell.

Athletes

By now few people are unaware that the Caribbean, specifically Jamaica, is home to the fastest man in the world, Usain Bolt. Bolt has his own club in the Caribbean and you can actually meet him and other great Caribbean athletes on your visit. It’s an opportunity you’d be hard pressed to find elsewhere.

Musicians

If you just came to the Caribbean for the musicians and the music, you’d be in good company. The Caribbean is the birthplace of Reggae and home to some amazing and soul-enriching beats, from Ska to Jazz. The Caribbean is the place to meet some of the unbelievable musicians who populate these islands.
