Jaggeree House

Opening the front door to Jaggeree House is like stepping into the Caribbean Sea. This newly built villa hugs the shoreline at Cliffdwellers, slightly above water level, and all rooms face the sea and St. Kitts beyond. To complete the illusion of floating in the water, the house is wrapped with a 85-foot free-form infinity pool, accessible from all five bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and private entrances.

An open floor plan combines relaxing, dining, and the kitchen area for maximum entertainment. All overstuffed furnishings are covered in white denim, including 10 dining chairs around a dark stained rectangular table. Large mirrors reflect the sea back into the room, expanding the horizon from every direction.

Jaggeree is Carib for ‘unrefined sugar,’ but this designer home is far from unrefined. It reflects comfortable West Indian style with modern, clean accents and electronics abounding.  The outdoor area has an automatic insect repellent system (natural products, of course), and electric verandah screens that drop via remote control.

The master suite is isolated within its own wing. French doors open to a private terrace at the foot of the king size four-poster bed. Step into the pool, or enjoy an al fresco shower just off the master terrace entertained by pelicans diving into the sea. Seize a romantic moment before joining your other guests for the evening.

  • Located in the Cliffdweller beachside estate, Jaggeree House is a seaside stroll to Cades Bay’s beach restaurants and 10-minute drive to Charlestown, passing Four Seasons along the way.
  • If five bedrooms seem daunting, there are plenty of smaller (and larger) residences available for rent. Within Cliffdwellers estate, waterfront locations range from one to five bedrooms for weekly rentals.
  • All rental villas come with housekeeping, pool and gardening services. A welcome breakfast and drinks are included, as well as provisions and a cook should you desire. Assistance with transfers and car rentals are available.
