Dining at Christophe Harbour

St Kitts is a stewpot of culinary delights. The island’s fertile volcanic soil provides the right environment for growing a number of fruits, vegetables and herbs, and the ocean is a banquet of fresh fish and lobster. Throw in the natural Kittitian love of good food, and this stewpot will brew morsels that fill your soul with true Caribbean flavour.

Christophe Harbour, on the island’s southeast peninsula, is home to two of the island’s finest dining establishments, the Beach House at Turtle Beach and The Pavilion at Sandy Bank Bay, that showcase nothing but good taste.

The Pavilion takes traditional Caribbean cuisine and adds a contemporary twist.  Wednesday evenings are Chef’s Appreciation night with a very popular prix fixe menu.Enticing dishes are delightfully prepared by Executive Chef Damien Heaney and impeccably presented by trained staff among stone arches, rustic fireplaces, and jaw dropping views. Guests may finish their evening with aged rum and fine cigars in the Pavilion lounge.

A traditional West Indian plein air structure sets the stage for memorable evenings and spectacular events at the Beach House. Available for private events, the Beach House is an ideal spot for saying “I do” on the manicured lawn with the twinkling lights of sister island Nevis as a backdrop. The Beach House is also open throughout the year for special signature events. Guests overlook the mountains and the sea, wander hand in hand down a wooden pier or sip rum in the gazebo. Highly recommended are the monthly full moon fêtes.

Enjoy a quiet meal while the sun sets over the horizon, treat yourself to a scrumptious desert on a starry night or indulge in a coffee over riveting conversation. Whatever you are looking for, the Beach House and The Pavilion at Christophe Harbour are duly prepared.
